At Maples, we like to have a home from home experience, our mealtimes are not rushed. Our mealtimes provide an opportunity for discussions between the children on their tables. We also encourage the children to self-serve their meals and drinks to promote independence and gross motor skills. The Nursery we offer your child Breakfast, Hot Lunch, Tea and all Snacks in between.

Our food is prepared and cooked fresh on the day and runs to a 3 weekly menu which is displayed - If your child needs a specialised diet for any reason we can cater for them no problem!
Meals are served in the main nursery and every child is encouraged to use the cutlery provided and interact with the other children. We rarely have leftovers. We are proud to say we have a food hygiene rating of 5 stars (the highest anyone can get) and love to see full bellies and empty plates.
My son had never spent time away from his Mummy and Daddy before but he has quickly settled and is really enjoying himself. There is a lovely home from home atmosphere and the staff are nurturing and attentive to the children and make sure parents are kept informed of how the little ones are doing. The children enjoy a lovely range of stimulating activities and the outside space is also lovely. The food is varied, nutritious and very much enjoyed-especially the cheese straws ?? I noticed some real improvements in my son's development since he has started and really can't recommend highly enough xxx
